Our Leadership

Calvary Fellowship is an independent Bible Church, governed by its own local leadership. We have patterned our leadership structure after thetwo official groups of leaders listed in the New Testament - elders and deacons.

Elders are men who provide care and oversight spiritually for a local church. They must be qualified according to Biblical standards (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9). Elders serve by praying, counseling, teaching, and guiding the church. Currently there are three elders serving the church. Eric Hall is serving fulltime at the church, and has been on staff since 1978. Tim Green and Jack Rapp also serve as shepherds, as an integral part of the shepherding team.

Deacons are men who serve the church in practical ways. They too, must fulfill Biblical qualifications (1 Tim. 3:8-13). Their ministries include oversight of many areas, such as maintenance of the building, meal ministries, care of lawn and grounds, audio-visual ministry, and ushering/greeting., Calvary Fellowship is an independent Bible Church, governed by its own local leadership.
